Assistant Principal's Message

Our Nottingham Knights are amazing!

All of my years in education have been in Spring Branch ISD.  I began my career at Wilchester Elementary working in the front office.  I later moved into the classroom as a teacher of both second and then fifth grades.  In 2008 I became the Assistant Principal, and in 2012 made a move to join the Nottingham Elementary family.  Here is where I have found my niche!

My passion lies with teaching children how to survive in the real world.  There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching a child grow, learn and discover his or her own strengths and talents.  I hold very high expectations for both myself and the teachers and students that I work with.

My belief is that each child is unique and that each child can and will learn successfully if given the appropriate learning environment, instructional strategies and support.  I believe, too, that parents are the child's strongest advocates and I desire to work in partnership with you to help your child reach his or her fullest potential. I encourage and welcome you to call me if you ever have any questions or concerns about your child's education.

On a personal note, I am an avid animal lover and have a menagerie of pets at my home.  I enjoy nature around me and like to putter in the garden.  As a lifelong learner, I also spend time staying current with the latest educational research and legislation.  My daughter is the light of my life, and even though she's now graduated high school and experiencing new adventures, I still call her my little girl.

Have a wonderful year at Nottingham!  We are the Mighty Knights!
