Nottingham
students receive grade reports every nine weeks with progress
reports sent home during the fourth week of each reporting cycle.
We're very interested in helping you stay informed about your
child's progress and there are several important additional ways
we meet that goal.
Teachers at Nottingham always welcome parents to come in and
discuss a student's progress either before or after school or
during the teacher's conference period. Whichever time is more
convenient, please remember to contact the teacher to set an
appointment so that all needed information can be gathered and the
meeting can be focused and productive. You may contact the school
for an appointment with your child's teacher at 281-560-7460. In
addition, teachers schedule annual beginning-of-the-year
conferences in October to explain the report card format, grading
procedures and to answer any questions that you may have.
Students
in kindergarten receive progress ratings between 1 and 3.
Students in first grade receive letter grades. Students in grades 2-5
receive numerical grades in academic subjects and letter grades in
fine arts and health/fitness classes, work habits and
behavioral goals.
